Today in my youth we watch "Facing The Giants" ,this story talk bout how God actually turn an impossible thing to possible.....and it really inspiring and touch us...i almost cry while watchin. After that we watch a video clip which show a man who have cancer and praising Lord with the song Healer in his concert. He say that how God help him and working in him, the song that he sang is very touching ,every word he sang hit my mind and i know that the Lord did the same thing to me.....

Actually there's more behind to this.. In short, the song Healer is removed from Hillsong live album because of this issue..
I do believe that the song Healer is anointed, but I can't help thinking on why the man who wrote that song actually give false testimony on how he comes to create it..

yar...the singer created a big mistake, but i seriously think that He adi noes how wrong is he...and i believe that he has ask God for forgiveness.. so i think as God's ppl, we should forgive him too....becoz everyone did mistake....even Peter denied Jesus for 3 times,God still forgive him...
Ps.i wouldnt let any worship song or thing that can link my heart closer to Him to stop playing just becoz of someone mistakes...becoz anything u do is between u and God ,not others..^^

ReplyDeleteAnyway, I hope that he did not cause other christians to fall from their faith because of this issue.. Cause as u see, some people might have accepted Christ through that song, which Mike said he composed through his 'personal experience'. (which we both know that he did not experience it).. [in this context, i mean new believers.] :)
Do u think that could happen, that some might fall from their faith because of this?
Anyway, Luke 17 did explain most of the issues above. So, yup, as you said, we should have the heart to forgive him, as God had also forgives us, through the cross.
P.S: Will drop by ur blog as I see u hv really a lot of testimony to share.. haha. currently exam season, and so lots of stress :(
Hmm...i think will hav many christian will loss their faith if they got to noe bout this news...exspecially those who accpeted Christ thru this song...But,the thing we can do is to pray for them and leave it to God. He is a God of miracle...i believe He still can find a way to show them that He is the true Lord and Lord of healing.
